The Western Cape Government praised LEAP officers for confiscating illegal firearms, ammunition, and drugs during joint operations in high-crime areas across the Cape Flats.

 

Hammanskraal Operation Recovers Eight Firearms

 

SAPS in Hammanskraal recovered eight unlicensed firearms during an intelligence-driven operation at a smallholding north of Pretoria. One suspect was arrested following the raid.

 

SANDF Deployed to Support Anti-Gang Operations

 

South African National Defence Force personnel were deployed alongside SAPS in parts of Gauteng, Western Cape, and Eastern Cape as part of Operation Prosper aimed at combating gangsterism and violent crime.
