Eastern Cape SAPS Recover Illegal Firearms

The South African Police Service in the Eastern Cape arrested three suspects during a combined operation targeting violent crime and illegal firearms in the Palmietfontein area. Firearms and ammunition were recovered during the operation.

 

National Crime Operations Recover Over 100 Firearms

SAPS reported that nationwide “Operation Shanela II” operations led to the recovery of 119 firearms and more than 1,100 rounds of ammunition during crime-combatting operations across South Africa.
