SAPS Destroys 13,859 Illegal Firearms
The South African Police Service destroyed 13,859 confiscated and surrendered firearms in Vanderbijlpark as part of ongoing efforts to reduce illegal firearms in circulation. SAPS stated that many of the firearms were linked to serious crimes including robberies and violent offences.
